I can’t believe the weekend is already over!

Every year Beachbody has a Coach Summit, which is a “work convention” – only it feels like a weekend long party!

We got to connect with our friends, teammates and meet new friends from all around the world – over keynotes, photoshoots, presentations and of course – cocktails!

We shopped, dined and learned from some pretty incredible people – like Rachel Hollis, James Clear, Jade Simmons and various other successful people that I respect and look up to! We even got to meet and hang out with some of our favorite Super Trainers!

I remember my first Summit in 2016 sitting in the nosebleeds and this year got to represent my Team on stage at Lucas Oil Stadium not once – but THREE times for our Team’s Achievements and my individual promotions.

I was also asked to speak at my upline Coach’s Team Luncheon and had no idea I was following Shaun T on stage (someone who I’ve clearly fan girled over for years!).

The entire experience was surreal, and aside from all of the goosebumps and butterflies that I internally felt – nothing beat seeing my girls light up with excitement, ambition and hope for what they each wanted to achieve for themselves.

It really is true – what they say about surrounding yourself with positive people. It’s downright contagious and actually something that you want to catch.

So much love… so many smiles and so much excitement for all the new products, programs and expansion into other parts of the world — but that’s all coming soon!

Beachbody really goes out of their way to make us feel special and have never felt this appreciated from any other organization in my life. Between the recognition, awards, gifts and experiences – nothing can compare, and don’t think anything ever will!

Next year in 2020, we are headed to New Orleans as an ELITE TEAM and I hope you’ll decide to join us there! It will be nothing short of memorable!

Where We Stayed:

We stayed at the JW Marriot Hotel which I highly recommend – especially if you are coming for a convention/event. The hotel is technically connected to the Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium, so if it’s crummy weather, or Winter – I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t want to stay there. The JW was also within a short walking distance to the park and restaurants. There is a really nice fitness center, Starbucks, in-house dining with spacious rooms and views. The Zoo is less than a mile away as well!

Where We Ate:

Cafe Patachou: We had our first breakfast here and I couldn’t recommend this place more. Huge diverse menu with plenty of clean and delish options. My husband raved about the coffee as well! It’s a short walk from the JW Marriot & Convention Center.

Nada: All I need to see on a menu is tacos and margaritas and I’m good! This place didn’t disappoint! We had Steak Fajitas, Mahi Tacos and a couple of margaritas! Service was just as good as the food!

Milktooth: This place was so cute and unique! I was googling for something different, so we headed here for lunch one day! This is probably the place you want to be for brunch/lunch and if I had a tip it would be to split a clean/indulgent meal with a friend so you can have the best of both worlds!

Spoke & Steele: We hosted our Leadership Dinner here so we had a smaller menu! The drinks were PHENOMENAL, so I you ever visit Indianapolis and want a crafted and cocktail made with love – this is the place to be. Drinks were original, innovative and had a lot of unique properties all the way down the thee garnishes! I love when I find a place where I can trust and enjoy letting a bartender do their “thing.” The food was great as well – but the drinks claim the attention.

Shapiro’s Deli: We found this place by accident while we were at Lucas Oil Stadium. We were starving and didn’t want to eat Stadium food, so an employee recommended this deli, which was about a 3-4 block walk. The food was home made and yummy!

OP Italian: We stumbled into OP after festivities one night in the hotel and I was skeptical. Usually hotel food isn’t wonderful, but everything we had here was – service, food and cocktails were all pretty awesome!

I'm Meghan - your wellness hype girl

let's be friends

After years of being in the health & fitness industry, I found myself struggling to get results after my second pregnancy. What used to work, no longer did and I found myself experiencing stubborn weight gain, vertigo and debilitating PMS symptoms, despite eating well and exercising regularly. I sought help from multiple physicians who either told me I was fine or echoed. "this is just how it is as you get older." I refused to accept that and invested in continuing education so I would be able to help myself through nutrition and lifestyle modification. I feel fantastic, lost the 12lbs of excess weight and my cycles have been a breeze. Best of all -- I'm happier and my kids have a better mom because of it!
