Have any of you been to Sedona, Arizona? Holy beautiful!
Arizona has always been on my bucket list to visit, but being a toddler Mom has pushed adventurous trips like this off to the side.
I was so excited when I learned that our Leadership Retreat through Beachbody was in Scottsdale, because I now had a REASON to pull the trigger on going.
For those of you who aren’t on my Team, our agendas on these trips are jam packed so we decided to fly out a day early and check out Sedona!
Once you land in Phoenix, the drive up to Sedona is only about two hours.
I’m from the east coast, so I was just in awe of the catus-lined highways. You’ll know you’re in Sedona, once you see the Red Rocks and the drive is stunning from that point forward.
By the time we arrived in the heart of Sedona we were starving, so we had an early lunch at Marisopa which I couldn’t recommend more. I did a lot of searching on Trip Advisor, Instagram and Pinterest — all signs pointed to Marisopa, so we gave it a shot!
The views, services, drinks, food, plating, execution and overall experience were perfection!
After lunch we had booked a Jeep Tour through Pink Jeep Tours and did the Broken Arrow ride. We heard great things about this tour and since we had limited time, felt that this would be a great opportunity to have a fun experience and see great views.
I’m not usually one to like or do touristy things – but I thoroughly enjoyed doing this and had so much fun!
The tour was about 2-3 hours long, and the views at the top were incredible. Photos truly don’t do it justice, but I’ll try!
We stopped at two different vantage points and learned so much along the way from our tour guide!
Once we finished the tour, we headed down to Scottsdale, where our Retreat was being hosted at the Fairmont Princess (about a 2 hour drive away).
Things I wish we had time for:
- Driving north to Flagstaff and Page to see Antelope Canyon
- Hiking
- More eating
- Shopping through the cute little town
I’m sad our trip to Sedona was short, but am beyond grateful we made the decision to visit! It’s totally worth the trip even if you ONLY have half a day to visit!
I can’t wait to visit again next year when I bring my husband along for the ride with me!
If you’ve ever been, I’d love to hear what your favorite places and things to do were!
Stay tuned for my Leadership Recap from Scottsdale, Arizona soon!
